Buttermilk Revival began many years ago as a three piece bluegrass band called "Tappinfoot", consisting of Jody Daniels (banjo, guitar), Matt McClain (guitar), and Todd Herron (mandolin, dobro), all who have had individual extensive experience playing, singing, writing and recording music.  In early 2009,  they added harmonica player, Joe Mauldin, Adam Poulin on fiddle, and Larry Rapp on bass, turning the trio into a full multi-instrument bluegrass band. Now they find themselves quite popular throughout the music rich town of Athens and were the Grand Prize winners of the 2012 Athens Got Talent competitions. Buttermilk Revival blends traditional & non-traditional instrumentation with three part vocal harmonies and a dash of humor for a very entertaining recipe of straight up bluegrass!
